If you're looking for someone who is reliable and willing to go above and beyond just watching your kids, look no further. I pretty much do it all. Cooking, light house work (including the entire families laundry), running errands or whatever else you may need. I have reliable transportation and no allergies to pets. I'm fun, loving and really enjoy being outdoors. Screen time is not something I allow on a regular basis either. I believe children should be creative and active. Tina was nanny to two elementary aged children when I first met her. I was hired as a tutor for the boy in the family. Tina always had the children finishing their homework and having a healthy snack when I arrived at their tidy house. Tina was firm about the children doing their best and about showing respect to me, another adult there to work with them. She and I understood our roles supported each other. Tina was able to handle all the demands of the household and children, including school work, sports practices and daily schedules. The only thing Tina can't handle is vomit. Once, the boy suddenly threw up all over the floor. Tina nearly lost it herself. I cleaned up while she figured out other ways to help, comforting the child and getting more towels. She apologized profusely but we all have a weak point and I could sympathize with her. Tina is a wonderful nanny. The children love and respect her. I recommend her highly.
