About Timia

I'd describe my personality as fun loving, hardworking, dedicated. I like working with kids because kids bring out the best side in anyone; simply being able to love on/care for them makes me happy. I'm looking for a job that accommodates my needs with pay, hours, and work load. I want to be able to effectively work and communicate with a family. I started working with kids when I was very young, about 10 years old. I started to care for troops in Girl Scouts when it came to day trips. At 15 I started working for my god mother taking care of my god sisters age 5, 2 and 8 months (the second two weren't born at the time) to make money. In my spare time, I love to sing, write, and play piano. One thing you should know about me is I do have vertigo and heat affects it--artificial heat that is from heaters. I keep medication on hand to treat any symptoms. My skills include communication, understanding, and patience/compassion for emotions and behaviors that may arise.
