I have been working with a local in home provider for last 5 years as well as coaching special Olympics in my free time for the last 3 years. Why do I love this field? I love the ability to work hard with someone on a goal and see them succeed independently. I am a huge advocate for teaching independence and the right to live the way you chose. I use methods of providing understanding, accountability and natural consequences to learn and to find the way that is best suited for each individual. I really form a bond with those I work with and I want to be a part of a team who wants their child/loved one to grow and learn and succeed at life!
