I took care of a man for 2 years who had been in a nursing home for 5 years. He has spina bifida, kidney disease, seizures and many other health issues. I was in charge of everything including but not limited to changing his catheter and eventually his supra pubic tube, diabetic care, his meds, bathing, dressing, wound care, transfers with and without Hoyer lifts. I was also his power of attorney and payee. He became healthier then he had been in years. I love taking care of people and I am not afraid to learn new things. I also have experience in working in nursing homes as well. I don't mind working with any age group. I take pride in what I do and I am very good at it. I have a big heart and I will fight for what my client deserve and I won't settle for anything less. I do have a medical background as a CNA and I eventually want to go for my nursing. I have also done HHA work as well. I am willing to do anything you need me to do as long as I am physically able to.
