I've been a Dementia Care Companion for over 4 years with a local agency. I like to engage clients with reading, games, cards, walks and conversation. I have my own transportation and will do light house cleaning and errands. I'd describe my personality as compassionate and understanding. I like caring for seniors because the engagement and social interaction gives me joy. I'm looking for a job that has consistent schedule and a family that can communicate via notebook and or on regular basis. I started caring for seniors when I decided to change careers from being a teacher to home-care. In my spare time, I like to read, workout, and watch movies. One thing you should know about me is I'm willing to work with families and their needs. My skills include communication with the family, ensure the client is safe and engaged, complete tasks for a safe and clean environment.
