I've have over 9 years experience working with children who have special needs. I am a proud parent of a 9 year old son who has Autism, he is a very bright and loving boy. I call him my special child. I understand firsthand how it feels to have to leave your child in the care of someone else while I have to work and I would want someone who has the experience with special needs. I also help some of the staff where I am currently employed at with strategies on how to work with children with special needs.

This woman is a poor quality individual. She worked for me on one occasion, and showed up late. I asked her to come an additional time, and she was to be at my home on time, as I need to leave for work or other commitments. She was told to leave herself a half hour of travel time to get to Westport from Bridgeport, and never showed for our appointed time, and did not call. Her phone was disconnected. Do not hire this person, she has an attitude, and does not appreciate that SHE is the employee, and not the employer. She cannot show up 10 minutes late!!! She does not deserve the one star, but you have to post something to finish the posting.
