As a natural care giver, I tend to gravitate towards the elderly. I love hearing their stories of life and also providing a helping hand. I worked closely with my grandmother who had dementia, so I have experience with working with dementia patients. I also used to be a companion for a 92-year-old man who was blind. I provided care (light housework, meal preparation and feeding, medication routines, exercise, transportation, and errands) and companionship for both individuals mentioned. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and am able to show proof of vaccine if needed. I have my own transportation and valid driver's license. Additionally, I will treat your family as my family. Tess helped with my husbands grandfather during his last few years in earth. He was in his mid 90s, hard of hearing, and blind, so his life was lacking value and pretty depressing but Tess brought a bright life to his day every time she visited. She would sit with him, listen intently, ask about his life, show empathy, and assist with feeding and guiding him around the house. She was a great relief to my in laws, who he was living with. They were able to confidently leave the house for a few hours a couple of times a week with her care.
