I'm joyful, innovative, unflappable. I like giving care to loved ones, because sometimes a caregiver is beneficial to the whole family. I'm looking for a job where I can enhance the quality of life for the patient and family. I cared for my grandmother a lifetime ago. After experience in other "helping fields", I returned to caregiving in 2012. I spend time with "Ardley", stay current on national and world news, (I'm a history buff), engage in word and trivia games, and adore travel. I exceed the education for CNAs; I try to improve myself through seminars and webinars, exchange ideas with senior-care professionals, and maintain a network of contacts. Skills include anticipating a client's needs, advocating for that client, and creating a team of resources, i. e., wound care nurse, PT at home, visits by a physician's assistant, etc.
