About Teresa

I hold a B. F. A. in Drama from New York University and a M. S. Ed. in Adolescent Education with a concentration in English from St. John's University. While at St. John's, I was the recipient of the Adolescent Education Award. I have been teaching English/language arts to students in 4th-8th grade since 2011 in both public and private school settings, and am certified to teach English K-12. I am available during school hours for home instruction or to supplement a home school program. My approach is warm, empathetic, hands-on, and engaging. I love meeting new students and their families, and it is a true joy to help each student learn and grow!
