About Taylor

I have worked for a home care assistance company as a companion caregiver, which transitioned into full-time caregiving. I was responsible for personal care (medical and non-medical), home management, meal planning and preparation, medication reminders, and client transportation for older adults with Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and other dementias. I also have experience working with younger adults who have Cerebral Palsy. Additionally, I have training with Hospice services and can provide end-of-life care if needed. I minored in Gerontology during undergraduate school while working with Home Care Assistance; I completed my Master's of Public Health in Epidemiology where I focused on older adult health, and I'm a full time PhD student in the Aging Studies program at Tulane School of Medicine. My passion is advocating for older adults and studying how to improve healthy aging, meaning increasing the quality of life. Looking for part-time work as I finish my dissertation.
