First and foremost, I am a compassionate caregiver with a genuine passion for my work; committed and enthusiastic proponent of the philosophy and practice of Aging in Place. AFA/CPR/AED Certified, Designated 1A Front Line Direct Care Provider. Currently schooling for my BSN/RN. Experienced home health assistance to the elderly, those requiring hospice care, and those requiring memory care. Practiced in assessing and addressing ADL and IADL needs, including but not limited to: functional transfers and mobility assistance, home modification, medication management, and facilitating all levels of personal care required. I have provided patient advocacy, facilitated hospital-to-home transitions, and provided recovery and/or continuing care. Skilled in the operation of various in-home medical equipment, and in the performance of quality control procedure, preventative maintenance, and immediate-necessity reactive repairs.
