About Tanya

Hi, my name is Tanya! I have loved working with children for as long as I can remember! I started babysitting family members around 12 years old and other children at age 14, with the children's ages ranging from 2-3 months to 12 years old. This gives me 7 years of babysitting experience and 4 years experience working in and out of a classroom. I completed 4 years of Early Education and Care, certifying me to teach toddlers and preschoolers. I created lesson plans with all kinds of themes for the children, which I loved doing and I am now deciding between a major in Special Education or Early Childhood Education in college. I am very patient and love being able to figure out what works for each individual child. I am going back to school in February, so I will only be available for occasional babysitting in January. I will be back in the summer for full time.
