I am searching for a full time longterm childcare position. I have been babysitting/Nannying for over 25 years. I love kids, animals, and the outdoors. I have experience with kids of all ages from infants to 16 years old, including twins. There is something about spending time with children that keeps me sane. I have a MS in Environmental Science so I love teaching little ones about nature and I find it important that children spend valuable time outdoors. Walking on nature trails, going to the park, going to the beach, going to the library or play groups. I took a semester of early childhood grad classes at Lesley U. Tamarra babysat for us for approximately 7 months and still does on occasion. I have two boys - 6 and 3 - and she is by far their favorite babysitter! My boys have a lot of energy and she keeps up with them all day - they spend a lot of time outdoors, do art/craft projects, read books, go to the library, go for hikes - she is game for just about anything. For me, that seems to be key to finding a good caregiver - someone who is not only dependable but energetic and fun for the kids to be with. My boys always enjoy their time with her and she is a wonderful person who loves kids and deeply cares. I have nothing but positive feedback for Tamarra and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great caregiver. I have also recommended her to friends who love her also (parents and children alike).
