About Tamara-nicole

I am a nurturer by nature and have always loved taking care of kids. I am also an educator, musician and video procurer. My background as it relates to childcare: I tutored a girl in chemistry and algebra throughout high school. I was a peer tutor from grades 4-10. I've taught grades PreK-10 instrumental skills on the violin, viola, bass and cello in a summer music camp. I did this for 5 years. I led the Pre-K group at a church for 3 years, and led a praise dance team with pre-teens and teens for 2 years. Recently I was a summer activity instructor for the YMCA summer camp, and a digital media instructor for a high school in brooklyn. I am a dancer, musician and artist all around with a passion for teaching kids how to express themselves using art. I was also top of my class in high school (ranked 15/500+) and graduated cum laude from NYU's Tisch School of the arts, from their nationally top ranked film program.
