About Tabitha

As an EMT working in non-emergent transport, I have experience in safely transferring and caring for the differently-abled and the elderly. I have worked with patients with a wide variety of medical problems, including stroke history, dementia, neurological deficits, quadriplegia, COPD, and others. I am comfortable working with individuals who are minimally or non-verbal, on isolation contact precautions, or prone to agitation or combativeness due to Alzheimer's, etc. I enjoy communicating with my patients and offering them support and comfort, especially towards the end of life when even daily activities become a challenge. I am compassionate and loving, and I desire for others to feel a sense of self-worth regardless of the medical difficulties they face. I also offer companion care for those who simply need a listening ear and someone to enjoy activities in life with, whether that be shopping, doing puzzles, or talking over a cup of coffee. I am available Mon-Friday during the day.
