I've cared for children of all ages during most of my adult life and I'm currently seeking a family who needs a devoted nanny and an able assistant. My experience is multifaceted. I helped care for my 4 nieces (all under the age of 5 at the same time!) for 4 years, then married, adopted my own children (a preemie who weighed 3. 1 lbs at birth and a special needs son) and spent the next 26 years as a full-time wife and mother, managing all aspects of our lives. I rejoined the "work for pay" force and spent the last five years managing the family life of two physicians, three children (ages four and under when I was hired) and a dog and supervising the maintenance and repair of their 5, 000 sq. ft home. Suzanne worked for us for 5 years in our household including 3 kids under 5yrs of age at the start. She started out primarily as a nanny caring for my 3 month old daughter. As my daughter got older, her roles transitioned to more of a house assistant until my youngest started Kindergarten. We worked long hours, so her flexibility was critical. She kept our household functioning even when the Covid pandemic was at its peak including helping my oldest do remote Kindergarten. In addition to child supervision, she would meal plan, grocery shop, and cook meals for us daily. She helped clean the house, do laundry, and wash dishes. She helped shop for birthday presents and wrap them. She also helped find and supervise repair men that would come to our house as well as oversee ongoing house projects. Suzanne was invaluable in her role, and we were sad to see her move on.
