I have a B. A in preschool - 3rd grade. I worked w typical and atypical child reg ed and special education for several years. I also worked as a Development Specialist for Early Intervention working w children 6 months to 3 years old. I taught preschool there as well. I've been in childcare for the past 20 years. I find working with children a fun and rewarding experience. I am currently caring for a 18-month-old deaf baby we are learning baby sign language together :). I care for w a 3-year-old little girl, I began caring for her when she was 3 months old. I now take care of her 6 month little brother too. I cared for a 4 year little boy who had Down syndrome, Autism, and was non verbal. I took care of him for 1 1/2 years until the family moved . I like to use puppets while we read, sing and play and work on those milestones. I was also a Special Ed teacher and tutor for children ages 4-22. We did of arts and crafts and worked on the goals from their IFSP and IEP plans

(Review Continued): Susan is full of energy and love. And she is extremely helpful. She would take my son to the park (even though he can be very hard to handle in public), to speech therapy, or anywhere else I needed him to go. From beautiful arts and crafts projects to changing dirty diapers, Susan can do it all. Her energy and warmth was always a pleasure to come home to. Not to mention she was great with my four rambunctious dogs! She would sometimes arrive early just to take them out on a walk. She is kind, fun, caring, and patient. Unfortunately, we had to move across country. I wish I could have taken her with us! She supported me and my son during one of the hardest years of our lives, and I don't know what I would have done without her! She will be truly missed. If you are looking for help with your child, you cannot go wrong hiring Susan.
