About Susan

I have been working and teaching children from infant - Jr. High for the past 20 years. I have also raised two beautiful children of my own! My journey with children began in a preschool setting in my early 20's. From there I went on to become a nanny while attending DeAnza College in CA where I received an Early Childhood Degree that has opened many doors throughout the years. I worked as a teachers assistant in a special needs classroom for approximately 2 years in Los Altos, CA . When I moved with my family to Washington State in 1993 I opened a daycare which ran for 5 years. I have worked on and off as a teacher and also attended to student testing in the M. V. home school partnership program, Skagit Valley Learning Center. For the past 10 years I have been a nanny for professional families with needs such as short-term/part-time, seasonal or yearly contracts. I have worked between Mt Vernon, Anacortes and as far away as Lynnwood.
