About Susan

I specialize in the respectful care of infants and toddlers. I am a credentialed teacher, and I have many years of experience as a nanny for children ages newborn preemie to 12 years. I owned and ran my own Family Child Care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I have been a nanny most recently since 2013. My duties have included: Caring for and nurturing toddlers and infants, including preemies and special needs children, planning and providing 3 nutritious meals daily, bathing and dressing children, planning and taking children on outings and errands, laundering children's clothing, and bedding, traveling with the family, and communicating clearly and effectively with parents and children. Since and during that time, I taught as a bilingual reading specialist and Spanish teacher. I am available during the day on occasional weekends and regularly on weekdays. I am CPR and first aid certified, International Nanny Assoc. Certified, and I passed the Newborn Care Specialist exam.
