About Susan

Hi, my name is Susan. Before having my twins I was a teacher for quite a few years both in elementary education and special education. I am experienced with infants through teens as well as children that are neurotypical as well as various special needs, especially autism, cognitive and physical delays, ADD, ODD, depression and anxiety to mention a few. Currently, I am searching for a new family to joint their daily adventures only because the family I have worked with for about 3 years is transitioning to preschool and moving. I also have experience with both twins and preemies. My own boy/girl twins were preemies and have special needs as well as the little girl I now care for was a preemie. All 3 went through the Birth to 3 Program and my own children still receive adaptive services so I am very familiar with OT, PT, SLP and ABA therapy. Not only can I care for young infants with various needs, I can continue nurturing and teaching them given my experience as an educator.
