About Susan

Hello, I have many years of experience taking care of children. I am a mother of three children, ages 29, 26, and 24. I have a degree in Elementary Education and taught for three years. Also, I was a Teacher's Assistant in Religious Education. As an assistant, I would help the children with special needs. I was an Assistant Leader and a Leader for Girl Scouts when my daughters were members. I have taken a CPR and First Aid Class. I enjoy singing and reading aloud to infants and toddlers. I enjoy and encourage coloring, painting with water colors, sculpting with play dough, solving puzzles, and playing with blocks, dolls and cars with toddlers/preschoolers. I have over 10 years of tutoring experience. I have experience with children who have been diagnosed ADHD or autistic, or have learning disabilities.
