Experience: I have experience as a respite care provider for many families with children that have special needs and a wide range of abilities. I have experience working for a family that has a 6-year-old child who has been diagnosed with Down syndrome. I provide personal hygiene care, educational assistance, and social guidance for this child. I also have experience working with a family that has two children, diagnosed with developmental delays, language and speech delays, behavior and emotional concerns, post dramatic stress disorder, as well as sensory integration disorder. I have also worked with a 7-year-old child who has been diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, emotional concerns and developmental delays. I am currently employed at a pre-school as an early childhood educator and work with a group of children ages 2-12 with a variety of abilities. About myself: I am also very athletic and energetic! I love to do crafts and activities. I have my own car and am willing to drive if needed. My interest include: Sports, art, animals, and music. My favorite subjects in school are math, PE, and child development. Outside of school I participated in Young Life and Columbia Rugby team. I also love to go to new places.
