Hi, my name is Stephanie and I'm 27 years old. I've been working in childcare for 6 years officially, but I've been babysitting since I have been 14 years old. I currently work at a daycare in Newtown as an assistant teacher for infants and toddlers. I have been working here for 4 1/2 years. The youngest I work with is 2 months and the oldest being 3 years. I love doing art with them, sensory, and lots of outside play. I also love singing songs and reading stories. Before this I worked at 2 daycares, one in Shelton and one in Trumbull with toddlers and preschoolers. I also worked as a birthday coordinator for 3 years with kids of all ages. I am currently going to school for Social Work at Naugatuck Valley Community College in the hopes to work for DCF as a child therapist.
