I love working with individual and small groups of children to reinforce new skills initially introduced by the teacher. After my student teaching experience last year, I obtained a teacher's aide position where I have further polished my capabilities. My unique personal and educational background allows me to be flexible to the child and family I'm working for. In a day, I planned and implemented age/stage appropriate lessons or activities which took me from the infant room to school age. Moreover, I have worked both as a overnight Disability Service Provider and overnight babysitter. When children are groomed and rested with homework complete, I know the worth of quality care for children, and able to offer an extensive range of leisure and educational activities to the families of Care.com. I am currently working as a Teacher's aide and enrolled in Special Education masters program. I am a creative and organized person who loves to share the love of cooking. When my fiance has his three elementary and pre-k children over you can see me play on play structure with them, teach them a new recipe, and sing song as we create new works of art. All this while seamlessly including some ASL to help the youngest grow his communication confidence.
