I have worked with autistic children in the past through Kennewick School District. I worked as a one on one with one child 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. I also worked with another student in 6th, 7th, 8th, and a couple of weeks in 9th grade. Both students were high functioning, they just needed direction throughout the day. I have worked in an adult home with 52 special needs adults. I have been trained in a lot of these areas, but am not currently up-to-date on any of them. I had to have these working in an adult care facility and within the schools.
