About Sophie

I am currently a special education teacher looking to stay busy over the summer! When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to Milwaukee sporting events, traveling, and outdoor activities. In the past, I babysat for kids ranging from about 4 years old to 6th grade. My duties included; helping the children off the bus, providing snacks for them, putting them down for naps, helping with the nighttime routine (including giving medication), and keeping them entertained. I enjoy keeping kids busy with activities, games, coloring, and reading, and I love helping with homework! I have also had plenty of experience with children with disabilities. I have babysat for my disabled brother, and several children with down syndrome and autism, volunteered at special needs summer camps, and I'm a licensed K-12 special education teacher. I am patient, caring, responsible, and friendly, but most of all I love working with kids!
