About Sophie

I am 25 years old, and am looking for part-time work in the Thurston County area. I am an Olympia native with two years of professional work as a special needs educator and part-time after school nanny in the city of Boston, MA. I returned to my hometown of Olympia to complete my Masters in Teaching Special Education, which will be primarily online. My experience as a nanny has been with children ages 2 to 18 years of age, but I have prior experience as a babysitter working with infants. As a nanny, I love to find fun activities to do with the children (incorporating educational aspects when possible), whether that be doing crafts, playing games, baking, going to the park, or visiting a museum. I have my own vehicle for transportation for any work related activities or errands. In addition to care for the child, I am comfortable with light housework (laundry, dishes, garbage), as well as meal-prep for the children, and family errands.
