About Sophia

Hi! I'm Sophia, a graduating senior in Art History at UC Berkeley and resident of the Elmwood neighborhood. I have a background in museum education programs at the Lawrence Hall of Science and the Asian Art Museum doing educational arts and crafts projects with children, and volunteer annually with Strawberry Music Festival's kids crew facilitating sewing, beading, painting, and multimedia art projects with families attending the festival. I greatly enjoy spending time with kids, especially as the eldest of three in my family! I've also grown up with cats and love spending time with animals. I'm very outgoing, social, and empathetic. I'm also very relationship-oriented and responsive to communication. In my spare time, I like to knit, dance salsa, play music with my bands, and lounge in coffee shops around the city :) Please reach out if you think we would be a good fit!
