I'd describe my personality as responsible, caring and patient I like working with kids because I enjoy seeing kids learn and grow. I'm looking for a job that is consistent because building connections is important. All kids, and parents, need to feel comfortable with who is caring for them. I started working with kids in 1998 in a childcare center, the infant and toddler room for 2 years. I was a tutor at an elementary school and an elementary teacher for 11 years. I also was a Girl Scout troop leader for 2 years and a foster parent for 2 years, fostering kids birth-3 years old. One thing you should know about me is I have two teenagers and a dog at home. We just moved to Grand Rapids last month so my knowledge of the area is limited.
