I have known Sonora since Fall 2013 when she was hired as a peer tutor for the Center for Teaching & Learning Excellence at the University of Scranton. Sonora clearly distinguished herself from the outset for his ability to tutor various levels of Biology and Chemistry courses. She has impressed me with her outstanding academic ability, high energy level and commitment to helping students having difficulty with the subject matter. I am very appreciative of the fact that Sonora required minimal supervision under my employment. I knew that I could depend on her to schedule tutoring sessions with assigned tutees and respond to their needs. She was conscientious and dependable for turning in required payroll information and providing additional assistance if the need arose. She will bring knowledge, commitment, professionalism and enthusiasm to this endeavor.
