I am privileged to be bilingual; therefore, in my past babysitter/nanny positions, I've spoken in Spanish to the children and parents seem to love the idea. I am also in the process of becoming multilingual. I am currently learning American Sign Language. Sindi is amazing. Both parents in our family work full time and we were lucky to have Sindi with our family for over a year. We still keep in touch and consider her a close family friend. Sindi took loving care of our child as an infant. She shared so many amazing insights and also respected our choices. I always knew our child was safe and well attended to. She had creative ideas for play and read so much to our child. Additionally, she took him to the park, spoke to him in Spanish and kept him away from screens. She is passionate about children - when I would overhear her play with our child, she had genuine laughter and joy. Sindi made delicious, healthy food and helped us in so many ways. She comes from a strong family with good values. I strongly recommend her and am happy to talk with anybody interested in a reference. Sindi is fantastic!
