About Silas

Hi! I'm Silas, and I know I'm not the typical childcare demographic but the home I was raised in makes me love hanging out with kiddos! I grew up in AK and my brother and I were homeschooled. My parents provided such a safe haven for other kids to come and go as they please, and ever since I graduated high school I've found myself trying to provide and foster the same environment! Starting in 2022 I worked a summer job at a Conference Center in Cannon Beach where staff ministered to kids of all ages. After that I started college at Corban University in Salem Oregon and while in school I occasionally watched over a preschool age boy and we went on lots of outdoor adventures together! On all my college breaks I've been a date night sitter for the families I keep in touch with. I'm home for the summer and hoping to find a family that appreciates my background with energy filled kiddos! I would love to work for a believing family as my Christian Faith is Important to me!
