Hi! My name is Shirley and I am a mom to two grown boys. I've been happily married to the boy I first met in ninth grade, for 32 years. We have been living in Waxhaw four years now, after moving here from Houston, TX. If you are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, dependable and fun then look no further! I have worked with children for the past 19 years as a preschool teacher, and have lots of patience and a desire to make things fun! I have experience in caring for children from infants (newborns) to elementary school aged kids. I will treat your children as I've treated my own; with love, kindness, and respect. I will provide appropriate care for your children, and am willing to do additional tasks, if requested. I'm organized, patient, and a multitasker. Shirley nannied for a few months taking care of our baby girl from when she was 4 months to 8 months old. Our baby absolutely loved her and she took wonderful care of her. Shirley was always on time, caring and a great communicator. If we ever need a nanny again she is the first person we will call. Although her primary role was to nanny for our new born, she always interacted and helped out with our older kids (5 and 8) in the morning. She is the best!!!
