About Sherry

I absolutely love working with children! After attending BYU and completing three years, I put my education on hold to raise my growing family of 10 children. One of my favorite activities as a Mom was teaching each of my children to read prior to attending kindergarten. I taught piano on the side. I received my CDA four years ago and have enjoyed being an Inclusion Preschool Teacher in Lehi since then, supporting the unique learning needs of both general and special ed students. I have served with children in the Primary organization at church as nursery leader, teacher, activity days leader, scout leader, music leader, and president. I love children and treat them as if they are my own when they are entrusted to my care. A full-time ongoing nanny position of 25+ hours per week with one family would be ideal.

Miss Sherry holds a very special place in my heart and the hearts of my family. Our son has been with her for the past two years and we have loved how he has bloomed in her care. It's hard to think of my son with anyone else! Miss Sherry is the most calm and patient carer I know. She is profoundly loving and creates nurturing spaces where even the most timid, nervous or busy children can thrive. From the second you meet her, it is easy to be certain that your child is in the best hands - & they really are! Not only from a nurturing perspective, but also through the lens of whole child development. My professional life is centered around making sure preschool and elementary aged children are experiencing the most effective and research-based practices as they develop foundational literacy and math skills. Miss Sherry is a model of excellence in this regard! My child will be at the top of his kindergarten class next year due to her expertise! We love Miss Sherry and highly recommend her!
