**Please check my availability before requesting. Unfortunately, I have to decline A LOT of daytime requests because I teach. I am a certified elementary teacher and single mother (my son is 21) looking for part-time childcare work and/or tutoring. I've been teaching for over 23 years. Prior to teaching, I had extensive experience as a babysitter & live-in nanny. As a teacher, I'm looking forward to helping kids who are enrolled in distance learning. I've had CPR and First-Aid training, the card has just expired. I also have experience with caregiving for children who have an Epi-pen and asthma. I've been quite Covid-conscious and I am looking for work with a family who is equally careful. I have no reservation wearing a mask even without the same expectation of your kiddos. Shelly is a hard working, dependable, and caring woman. I met her years ago when I was a live in nanny for her. She was a wonderful and fair employer who made me feel at home right away. Our relationship changed as her child became a young man, and now she is some what of a mentor. When she isn't working, or tutoring kids, she is always willing to help me grow! She herself has helped me with school, and my professional nanny career. I will always be grateful I have a friend in her.
