I absolutely LOVE children and have TONS of experience caring for them starting with my own brothers at age 12 when I spent an entire summer "being a mom" to my youngest brother who is 11 yrs. younger; my other brother is 5 yrs younger, so I was running a daycare, so to speak. I've cared for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children. I also have a 16-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son. I'm the quintessential mom. I love theater and have taught many summer theater camps to kids from 5yrs. to 15 yrs. old. I LOVE to read, write and create with kids!! I'm fluent in Spanish (as I can read and write) love teaching kids some basics in Spanish. I also love to cook! I love to go out for a walk to the park, beach-anywhere when it's a beautiful sunny day. I love looking at the world through the eyes of a child. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh-which has helped me in parenting. I'm flexible but adhere to boundaries (especially those set by other parents).

Sheila was a fantastic nanny for our two children. She was the kind of caregiver that every parent desires in that she approached her job with love, fun, compassion, and just the right amount of discipline. We never worried when the kids were with her. She was great about being versatile with them -- she would take them to the library to check out books that fit their respective interests, watch their silly play and singing performances, play with puzzles and board games, and engage in outside activities as well (the park, riding bikes, etc.). She was also a great help with homework, taking care of the family dog, and helping the kids keep up with their household duties (making lunches, etc.). The kids adored her and we were sad that we had to part ways due to scheduling issues. I highly recommend her and would certainly hire her again without reservation.
