About Shayna

I started working with animals when I was very young, as i've lived in the country surrounded by many breeds of animals. I've also been involved in 4-H which has helped me gain more experience & knowledge of animals. In my spare time, I like to be productive and make the most out of my day. For example, when I have free time I choose to go to the gym, go on a run, take my dog on a car ride, etc. I am currently a freshman in college, majoring in wildlife ecology & conservation. I plan on becoming a wildlife rehabilitator in the future, and would like to gain more life experience. My skills include animal handling, having basic care knowledge, and problem solving. I have been around many different types and sizes of animals, both living in the outside environment and in a home. I understand the needs that every living animal strive to have to be healthy & how to handle certain situations.
