My name is Shawna! I am a first year kindergarten teacher in Douglas County School District. I have 7 years experience of babysitting and working specifically with kids. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley in 2019. My degree is in Elementary Education and my minor is in Special Education. During my time at UNC I worked with college students as a resident assistant and senior resident assistant. I teach painting classes at a studio in Aurora and I often paint with kiddos there. I babysat for a few families in high school and I often watch my nieces and nephews. My fiance and I spend quite a bit of time with his youngest brother and his niece. I have experience with newborns, toddlers, kids, teens, and college students. My greatest passion is working with and caring for kids. I love doing crafts, reading, doing outdoor activities, and sometimes just staying in to watch a good movie. I can't wait to meet you!

Shawna was the summer nanny for our daughter. She is dependable, punctual and just a really great person. Shawna is really creative and planned out each week with fun activities for our daughter. Any family would be lucky to have Shawna watch their kids. Our daughter loves her.
