Hello everyone! Beginning as an adolescent babysitter, I continued my interest in children via camp counseling for several summers and tutoring high school students. I have a long history in pediatric nursing with much experience working with children with developmental delays and special needs. My camp counseling experiences enables me to draw on age appropriate, educational, yet fun activities, I can usually "find something to do " at a moments notice. I love introducing kids to new experiences outside or with making/creating things. I have also enjoyed many teaching experiences, and a variety of management opportunities. It's a very common thing to hear me singing to my charges and cooking is fun for me, so meal preparation is welcome. I am also very comfortable around pets. Please take note that I am allergic to cigarette smoke so I am unable to work in a house where there is a smoker.
