About Shannon

Hi! I am a Registered Nurse in the Glen Allen area, where I live with my husband and 3 cats. I started my career on a med/surg unit that also functioned as the hospitals hospice unit. I now work as an Infusion Nurse part-time. Throughout the four years I was at JMU obtaining my nursing degree, I worked for three different families who all needed in-home support for their loved ones. All of my in-home experience was with family members with varying degrees of memory deficits (ex. Short term memory loss, dementia). I found so much fulfillment in being able to offer respite care to families, as well as have the opportunity to focus on giving their loved ones the personalized care they needed. I would love to provide care to families in my community!
