About Shannon

Hello! I am currently a special education teacher. Previously I have taught first, second and fourth grade. I hold a bachelors degree in elementary, early childhood, and special education. In addition, I hold a masters degree in specialized reading with a graduate certificate in Dyslexia. In addition to being a full time teacher, I have plenty of experience working with children outside of a school setting as a summer nanny and occasional babysitter. I have worked in a variety of childcare settings. I have worked with children from birth to middle school and children with disabilities. I enjoy spending time outside, being active, and playing games. I am CPR and First Aid certified and CPI trained. My availability is flexible.
