Shannon is a very caring young lady. She loves working with children. Last summer she volunteered as a counselor in her township child care center. Shannon is an excellent student and was inducted into several honor societies. She is the president of her Peer mentor group at her High School. She is also part of the Big Sisters program at school. She was also a big part of her volunteer program In Camden County. Shannon went once a week to Camden to tutor children, went to a nursing home weekly and a pet store weekly to train disabled children. Her awards are numerous: President's Volunteer Service Award, Empower Award, Domenica Award, certificate of Special Congressional Recognition to name just a few.
