I have dedicated my life to working with children and making a difference in their lives. I love children. They are my calling and definitely my passion. I welcome the challenges and definitely the rewards children bring to my life. I feel the role of the nanny would be an extension and support of the family; executing and implementing the values, morals, beliefs, goals, and rules the family holds dear is important. Being a positive influence, a role model, a nurturing and loving caregiver, teaching new skills and behaviors, reinforcing other skills and behaviors, giving firm guidance and loving support are all qualities I value and strive to exhibit. Working as a team player with the parents is definitely a priority. I have over 20 years experience working with children. I have worked in a variety of settings to include nurseries, private homes, group homes, classrooms, hospitals, treatment center, county children's homes and orphanages. I have worked with children birth to 18 years. I have training in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Behavior Modification, Behavior Management, Teaching Methods, and a variety of special needs/disabilities.
