About Shannon

I have 12 years experience working with children of all ages, 5 years dedicated to working with children on the autism spectrum as well as various physical disabilities. My expertise is creating routine, schedules, and individualized plans for each child. I have worked in home based settings teaching basic hygiene, and household tasks, I have also worked in school based settings creating individualized educational plans. I'd describe my personality as energetic, problem solver, compassionate! I like working with kids because it's extremely rewarding to watch them grow and thrive! I'm looking for a job that has consistent hours, and clear expectations! I started working with kids when I was 13! In my spare time, I prioritize my physical and mental health, taking my dog with me on outdoor adventures, and time with family/ friends! One thing you should know about me is communication is a priority to me! My skills include building routines, household tasks, creating individual based plans!
