About Shanai

Shanai is an excellent aide and when my quadriplegic boyfriend and I hired her part time, we were relieved we found someone so great and available the hours we needed. We paid her out of pocket while she was supposed to be getting set up with Medical Solutions, who would be paying her through George's insurance. The problem was that each of the 3 weeks or so that we had her coming, something came up that she couldn't work all the days. We gave her the benefit of the doubt, even though she still hadn't filled out all the required paperwork and we still had to pay our of pocket. On the last day she was here, she announced as she was leaving that she would be out the next morning because of a dentist appointment. We let her know we needed more notice in the future. That was the last time we heard from her. I sent her 3 texts, including offering slightly different hours that might accommodate her schedule better. So we lost 3 weeks of looking for an aide, and we still don't have one.
