About Selena

Hello families! Before my arrival in beautiful, Seattle. I was living in Hawaii and educating myself within the Behavioral Health field which led to my admiration for Early Childhood Development and creating foundations with families. Outside of being an educator and care taker you can find me hiking with my two dogs and Fiancé, with a camera in my hand or creating art. I am passionate about the importance of early childhood education and the impact social-emotional learning has for our community and children. I aspire to bring natural elements to the table within education and create a safe, grounding environment for families. I am so excited for this new year and to see all it serves us. I believe the importance in creating new opportunities for today's youth. I strive to guide, grounding, natural and artistic expression within our learning environment. I hope my presence is a space where children challenge their skills, curiosity and we grow together!
