About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily and I'm currently studying early childhood education. I am looking to create memories with families on here as a teacher and helper for your children. I feel as if the strongest learning for us and the children starts with hands on work and what better place to have it than at home right now! I have been working in early childhood education for the past five years working as a lead teacher in a Reggio Emilia inspired setting. I feel extremely passionate about my work with children and believe it is our job to help scaffold and nurture their curiosities and interests from a young age. I believe this is where the best learning occurs while also building strong social-emotional competency. My skills include being emotionally responsive, being educated in the field of early childhood, and being able to be at the level of the children. In my spare time, I like to read, knit, collect records, and go on walks. Let's get in touch!
