About Scott

A seasoned and formally trained art and service professional with a natural proclivity for the attentive, empathetic, compassionate, and respectful care of persons with disabilities, elders, and young children. As a father of 6 (ages 18 - 35) I was a stay home Dad for extended periods of time during my marriage. I also ran the childcare nursery at a church where I was a long time member. I have extensive experience working with the disabled community as both an art teacher and care provider. This included providing my clients with assistance with feeding, as well as personal care. Since July of 2023, I am a part-time caregiver for my 85-year-old father. While this isn't a paid position, I assist him with household chores, medication disbursement, grocery shopping and errands. I also schedule and transport him to all his doctor appointments. In the past, I provided similar care for my former mother in law. I am currently looking for part time work.
