About Savannah

I am a patient and dedicated RIE-practicing nanny who adds a grounded and intentional presence to a family's dynamic by providing gentle and intuitive caregiving and practical home-management services with grace and patience. I have worked with kids since I was young - I co-parented my two younger siblings, who are 10 years younger than me and ever since I got my first job at 14, I have worked with children ages 0-18 in all kinds of settings, giving me 18 years of experience in childcare. I enjoy getting to know a new family and their needs so that we can band together and provide stability, safety, and compassion for their children, physically and emotionally. RIE has given me the language to explain my approach. Respecting a child, giving them my full attention, independent play, teaching trust, allowing for emotional expression, allowing for mistakes and age-appropriate problem solving are all elements that are fundamental to my parenting philosophy.
