My specialty is Kindergarten readiness. If you would like your child to be well prepared for kindergarten, then look no further! I can meet with you to share my approach to teaching and resources I use. I recommend at least one 2hr session/wk. I will be helping your child recognize and name basic colors, recognize and practice writing name, proper pencil grip, upper and lower case letter recognition, letter sounds, counting 1-100, recognize numbers 1-100, count by 5 and 10's, days of the week, months of the year, seasons, counting objects using one-to-one correspondence, shapes, proper pencil grip, scissor skills, recognize words that rhyme, follow instructions, addition & subtraction, blending sounds to read CVC words, (i. e. cat, mat, net, top, sit, cup), beginning readers books and beyond depending on each child's progress. **rates vary**
